One of the most useful Hobart Attachments is the VS9-12 Vegetable Slicer.
If you have a Hobart Mixer or Food Cutter, this will more than double your productivity. It has many varied usages like cutting cabbage for salads and cole slaws, and even slicing potatoes that range in thickness from that of an average potato chip to 5/8". It can slice nits, bananas, cucumbers, celery, and many other vegetables and fruits. It can even shred or grate cheese, raw carrots, and even beets.
Stainless-steel scimitar knives slice your food for fast, clean, and uniform cutting. The front of the Vegetable Slicer is hinged at one side, and can be swung aside or removed. This permits the quick and easy changing of plates and cleaning. The attachment includes a back case, hopper front, and adjustable slice plate.
